SPORTSBETTING.COM -- Sports betting made simple and secure.
Welcome to EdgarDavids.com.
I am currently designing what will be the top fan site for Edgar Davids, the spectacular Dutch and Juventus midfielder.
Until the site goes up, here are some good books about the beautiful game:
Fever Pitch by Nick Hornby
Fever Pitch is my all time favorite book about football. It answers questions not only about the beautiful game, but about the psychology of being a fan. Some say that this is only a book for an Arsenal fan, but I think it's essential reading for anyone interested in explaining man's modern condition, especially regarding football. If you haven't read this book, get it and read it now. It's that good.
David Beckham: My World
by David Beckham
Amazon.co.uk Review
David Beckham would probably have been a male model had he not discovered his amazing talent for football; at least, that's the impression one gets after flicking through this gorgeous coffee table tome devoted to the striking features of the country's most celebrated and idolised sportsman since George Best.

Brilliant Orange by David Winner
The Dutch have given the world some of the greatest football players that the game has ever known and in Brilliant Orange, out in paperback on 19 March 2001, David Winner explores both their genius on the pitch and the culture that has spawned footballing legends.

Leeds United on Trial
by David O'Leary
Amazon.co.uk Review
As manager David O'Leary admits in his controversial chronicle of the 2000/01 campaign, Leeds United on Trial, whatever his talented young side achieved on the pitch was overshadowed by the ongoing criminal trials involving three of its brightest stars.

The Miracle of Castel Di Sangro: A Real Life Footballing Fairytale by Joe McGinniss
Whether he's chronicling his ordeal at possibly the least-inviting hotel in Italy (the heat doesn't come on until October, no matter the temperature; he is assigned to a room up four flights of stairs though there are no other guests), or sketching a colorful cast of characters that includes the team's sinister owner and an utterly unflappable translator, McGinniss prompts roars of laughter as he reveals an Italy tourists never see.
